From the farm of Robert Rooke on the North Coos River, Coos County, Oregon; first known in the late 1800’s. Fruit oblate, medium in size. Skin: moderately thick, tough, pale yellow, well washed with bright crimson, some distinct yellow dots. Flesh: white, crisp, tender, juicy, sprightly, pleasant sub-acid. Good to very good dessert apple. Ripens medium to late.
