This plant is native to Europe and the Mediterranean but has adapted to many different regions. While it has no culinary or medicinal uses to speak of, it is often grown as an ornamental or the the yellow, golden-orange, and buff-colored dyes that it produces in natural fabrics. This variety is also known as "Dyer's Chamomile" and "Boston daisy".
