(aka Dewdney’s Seedling) From Barrowby, Grantham, England by Mr. Dewdney, c.1850. Form: oblate conic, slightly ribbed, large in size. Skin: yellow, blushed brownish red. Flesh greenish white, very firm, crisp, juicy, sub-acid to acid; good kitchen apple. Medium to late in season. A regular bearer here in our orchard.
